TRAVEL PROGRAM: tour to australiaDay 1. October 28, 2025 (Tuesday). SYDNEYWe arrive in Sydney—the largest and oldest city in Australia, located on the eastern coast. Nearly 5 million people live here. The city was founded in 1788 when Captain Arthur Phillip brought the first convicts to this land. We’ll learn that Sydney Harbour, where the Hunter River flows, was named after the English minister Horatio Sydney, while the local Aboriginal people call it
"Warrane".
Upon arrival, we’ll be greeted and transferred to the hotel. On this day, we’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Sydney’s city center: we’ll stroll through historic streets, visit the famous Circular Quay wharf, and take a ferry ride across the picturesque Sydney Harbour.
Sydney is Australia’s cultural capital, home to many artists and musicians. By the way, it’s also where the beloved coffee drink
"Flat White" was invented.
In the city’s parks, we might spot kangaroos, koalas, and funny wombats. And if we’re lucky, we’ll encounter a fluffy possum—a nocturnal resident of Sydney that often appears after dark.
Accommodation included: Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, 5*Meals included: Breakfast* Recommended flights from Moscow to Sydney:- Etihad Airways with a layover in Abu Dhabi (2h 40m), departure from Moscow on October 27 at 00:15, arrival in Sydney on October 28 at 06:10 AM

- Any other flight arriving in Sydney no later than 10:00 AM on October 28.
Day 2. October 29, 2025 (Wednesday). CANBERRA — BLUE MOUNTAINSEarly in the morning, we’ll depart from Sydney for Canberra—the capital of Australia, nestled comfortably among the peaks of the Australian Alps. Unlike other major Australian cities, Canberra was deliberately designed and built in 1912 according to the plans of an American architect. The city impresses with its meticulous geometry, which from above looks like a true work of art.
Our introduction to the capital will begin from the city’s highest point, offering breathtaking panoramic views. We’ll explore the buildings of the Old and New Parliament Houses, where we might even witness a parliamentary session. A stroll through central squares and boulevards awaits us, as well as a visit to the War Memorial. But Canberra’s main attraction is, of course, the numerous kangaroos freely roaming the city parks.
Next, our journey takes us to the Blue Mountains, named for the bluish haze created by eucalyptus forest vapors. We’ll venture into the wildest part of the national park, where nature remains untouched. The highlight will be the ascent to Black Mountain Lookout, offering a panoramic view of Canberra and the picturesque Lake Burley Griffin with its famous fountain.
These areas are home to kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and numerous birds, including majestic albatrosses and eagles. These incredible animals perfectly complement the already fairy-tale landscapes of the Blue Mountains.
Accommodation included: Wilderness lodge "Balashikha", Blue Mountains, 2*Meals included: NoneDay 3. October 30, 2025 (Thursday). BLUE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK Today, we’ll experience a true immersion into the heart of the Blue Mountains — one of Australia’s most iconic natural landmarks. Unlike regular tourists who flock here from all over the world, we’ll have the unique opportunity to explore these places far from the crowds - on a secluded territory deep within the national park.
We’ll discover astonishing caves. The first will lead us to a natural viewpoint overlooking a picturesque gorge, where a silvery river winds below. In the second cave, if you let your imagination run wild, you can spot rock formations resembling the Sydney Opera House - complete with a "stage," a "royal box," and even a stone "organ." These whimsical rock sculptures, shaped by nature over millions of years, turn the cave into a true natural theater.
Accommodation included: Wilderness lodge "Balashikha", Blue Mountains, 2*Meals included: noDay 4. October 31, 2025 (Friday). SYDNEY — MELBOURNEToday we leave the vast mountain landscapes of the Blue Mountains and return to Sydney. The journey back will be no less exciting: we'll travel along winding mountain roads, crossing ridges, rivers and gorges, as if passing through a kind of time tunnel where wilderness gradually transforms into a modern metropolis.
Finally, we'll arrive in Sydney, from where we'll depart to Melbourne. This flight will transport us to a completely different atmosphere — from serene mountain slopes to the vibrant energy of one of Australia's largest and most cultural cities.
* Recommended flights from Sydney to Melbourne:- Virgin Australia, departure from Sydney on October 31 at 19:30, arrival in Melbourne on October 31 at 21:05 Accommodation included: Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens, Melbourne, 4*Meals included: Breakfast Day 5. November 1, 2025 (Saturday). MELBOURNEWe are in the city that Australians call the most comfortable place to live on the planet. And this isn't just an opinion, but a fact confirmed by numerous international rankings. Today, we'll have the opportunity to personally discover what earned Melbourne this reputation—a place where Victorian elegance harmoniously coexists with the modern rhythm of a metropolis.
Our exploration will begin in the heart of the city, among architectural landmarks: the Parliament House of Victoria and the Royal Exhibition Building — the only site in Australia included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
But Melbourne is also a business hub with fashionable boutiques, gourmet dining, and a unique energy. We'll stroll along Collins Street, visit the bustling Federation Square, and snap a memorable photo at the iconic Flinders Street Station.
A special moment awaits us at Eureka Tower — the world's tallest residential skyscraper. In just 39 seconds, the elevator will whisk us up to the 88th floor, where we'll enjoy panoramic views of the city, its surroundings, and the waters of Port Phillip Bay.
The day will conclude at St Kilda Pier: sea breeze, bobbing yachts, and—if we're lucky—an encounter with local penguins that sometimes come ashore right within the city limits.
And today, we'll also get to participate in the eternal debate: which city deserves the title of Australia's best— Melbourne or Sydney? Everyone will have a chance to form their own opinion.
Accommodation included: Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens, Melbourne, 4*Meals included: BreakfastDay 6. November 2, 2025 (Sunday). GREAT OCEAN ROADToday we'll experience one of the most impressive routes of our journey — the Great Ocean Road. This 243-kilometer stretch along Australia's southern coast is considered one of the world's most scenic drives. Built by World War I veterans as a memorial to fallen comrades, it's not just a road today but a unique open-air monument.
Our journey will begin in Torquay — the official starting point of the route. Along the way, we'll admire wild cliffs, bizarre rock arches, and secluded coves. The main highlight will be the Twelve Apostles — majestic limestone stacks that, despite their name, currently number eight formations. Rising dramatically from the ocean, they create a breathtaking landscape in any weather.
We'll stop at the best viewpoints to take photos, breathe in the salty ocean breeze, and marvel at the power of the waves crashing against these ancient cliffs.
Accommodation included: Kangaroo Island, Southern Ocean Lodge, 5* Meals included: BreakfastDay 7. November 3, 2025 (Monday). MELBOURNE — PETRIFIED FORESTToday we'll make a short journey — just 180 km — to discover completely new landscapes.
Australia surprises with its unusual volcanoes: instead of smoking peaks, you can find yourself inside an ancient crater. We'll walk through the frozen caldera among freshwater lakes, where emus stride majestically between extinct volcanic cones — like guardians of these ancient places.
On the coast, we'll encounter an astonishing petrified forest. Millions of years ago, tropical trees thrived here, but then something changed: sand engulfed them, turning them to stone, and later ocean waves revealed these fossilized trunks to the world again. Scientists still debate the causes of this ancient catastrophe, while we'll simply imagine how real trees once grew here.
Nearby, there's a cliff with a "breathing" crevice: ocean waves crash thunderously into the narrow passage, erupting in a powerful spray fountain.
We'll have lunch at a coastal café, Australian-style — to the sound of crashing waves with a view of the endless ocean.
Then, we'll return to the volcanoes. Hidden in one of the craters, there is a mysterious chameleon lake: twice a year, its water changes from bright blue to dark gray, and we might be lucky enough to witness this transformation. In another crater, we'll find a neon-green lake where, in good weather, you can even take a swim.
Accommodation: Mount Gambier, Mid City Motel, 3.5* Meals: BreakfastDay 8. November 4, 2025 (Tuesday). VICTOR HARBORToday awaits us not just a road, but a true journey through Australian landscapes — as if straight from the pages of an adventure novel. The 450-kilometer stretch will be the longest driving segment of our route, but this is how you truly experience Australia.
We'll watch as endless pastures, peculiar rock formations, sparse woodlands, and morning mists pass by our windows, with glimpses of emus and silvery eucalyptus trunks appearing through the haze. Here, every kilometer of road is like a page from a book about this amazing continent.
Accommodation included: Victor Harbor, Pan Co Hotel, 3* Meals included: NoneDay 9. November 5, 2025 (Wednesday). GULF ST VINCENT — VICTOR HARBOR Today we embark on a true maritime adventure. First, we'll travel along the picturesque Gulf St Vincent, then take a ferry across the strait to Kangaroo Island.
This island is like Australia in miniature. Kangaroos roam freely here, koalas doze in trees, while echidnas and wombats make occasional appearances. Penguins bask on the rocks, and sea lions lounge near the shore. The feathered inhabitants behave like rightful owners: kookaburras burst into laughter, cockatoos engage in noisy squabbles, and honeyeaters skillfully sip flower nectar. If we're lucky, we might even spot dolphins or whales.
A particular pride of the island is its unique honey, produced by Ligurian bees brought here during Queen Victoria's reign. Today, this bee species survives only here. Our island exploration will begin with this sweet delicacy.
Next, our route will follow the ocean coast with its endless wild beaches, where wind and waves reign supreme. If the water temperature permits, we'll definitely take a swim in these crystal-clear waters.
Returning to the mainland, we'll cross the mouth of the mighty Murray River — Australia's longest waterway — by ferry. We'll conclude the day immersed in the region's wine culture, where vineyards blend harmoniously with the natural landscape.
Accommodation included: Kangaroo Island, Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn, 3* Meals included: NoneDay 10. November 6, 2025 (Thursday). FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK Today we embark on an unforgettable journey through Flinders Chase National Park. We'll begin by exploring the majestic Remarkable Rocks, then ascend to a viewpoint to fully appreciate the scale of these natural giants.
Next, we'll head to Cape du Couedic, home to the famous Admiral's Arch. Here, an entire colony of New Zealand fur seals resides—we'll watch them play in the water, hunt for fish, and bask on warm rocks. This is also our chance to refresh ourselves in the ocean waters.
A special highlight of the day will be encountering wild koalas. Our guide James, a local farmer, has specially prepared trails among the eucalyptus trees so we can quietly observe these adorable animals peacefully napping in the treetops.
Accommodation included: Kangaroo Island, Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn, 3* Meals included: NoneDay 11. November 7, 2025 (Friday). TRANSFER TO ADELAIDEToday we'll travel by ferry to Adelaide, with a stop at one of the beautiful beaches along the way.
In the evening, we'll arrive in Adelaide and check in at the Rydges South Park hotel.
Accommodation included: Adelaide, Rydges South Park, 4* Meals included: None Day 12. November 8, 2025 (Saturday). ADELAIDE — RETURN FLIGHT HOMEAdelaide — a city with a unique history, known as the "most English" in Australia. Why? Convicts were never settled here, yet the founder of its first settlements was once imprisoned himself. The mysteries, paradoxes, and fascinating facts of the past that we'll explore will captivate everyone.
Additionally, we'll verify whether it's true that the best red wine is made near Adelaide. The Barossa Valley, where Lutherans settled in the 19th century, turned out to be ideal for vineyards. Fleeing religious persecution in Europe, they brought grapevines with them, and since then, local wines have gained worldwide acclaim. We'll immerse ourselves in the winemaking traditions and savor their exquisite taste.
In the evening, we'll bid farewell to Australia and fly home.
