TRAVEL PROGRAM:
TOUR KAZAKHSTANDay 1. November 12, 2022. Arrival in Ndjamena
Arrival by air in Ndjamena late in the evening. Transfer to Ibis hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
* Recommended flight: - with Turkish Airlines, arrives in Ndjamena on November 13 at 3:25 am with flight TK-590 from Istanbul, - any other flight with arrival in Ndjamena any time on November 12 or in the night from November 12 to 13.

Accommodation: Ibis hotel 3*, shower Day 2. November 13, 2022. Ndjamena – Bokoro (300 km) After breakfast and Police formalities, departure around 9:30 am by 4WD SUVs in the north direction via Massaguet to reach the area of Bokoro. For next 13 days we will cover the distance of 2600 km, on some days driving 5 to 6 hours. Passage of the area of the Arab and Boulala nomads. Meeting with some nomads in transhumance. Accommodation: tents Day 3. November 14, 2022. Bokoro – Mongo (Guerra plateau) – M'bororo camp (400 km) This part of the crossing of the Guerra plateau with its rich granite mountains, with its men and women who perched on donkeys or carts are rushing to the daily with multitudes of activities. Once animist, the inhabitants of this area, the Hadjarai, have kept the tradition of various sacrifices for a part of this population that has remained on the plateau. M'bororo camp We will travel the plain of Guerra to reach the camps which is a fallback point for nomads after the rainy season. We take the opportunity to set up our camp, paying particular attention to the customs and traditions of the Mbororo world called the "cow people". We are not the real season of Guerewool but the custom of dances and songs makes the life of this people. We will attend ceremonies of welcome and hospitality (Guerewol-like fest). Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: tents Day 5. November 16, 2022. M'bororo camp Meetings and exchanges with the young people, songs and traditional dances. Today we will play football with Mbororo in full dress. Visits of the site and surroundings to close our stay with a common dinner.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: tents Days 6 – 7. November 17 – 18, 2022. M'bororo camp – Abeché – Ouaddaï – Biltine – Arada We leave the Guerra via Mongo, to head towards Abeché.
We are now in the region of Ouaddaï, an ancient kingdom once recognized with the commercial link to the present Sudan. Its colorful market is much influenced by Sudanese traditions. Our refueling point before heading back to the desert. Arada is the drop-off point for the Arab and Kereda nomads with their plenty of camels and cows. We are in semi-nomadic zone. Arada – Kalait – Terkei (Gateway to the Ennedi Plateau) After the formalities and shopping in Kalait which is the center and crossroads of the Saharan world, here begins the semi-desert area. The wells used to host hundreds of families of Toubou and Arab nomads who consider Kalait as a buffer zone between the desert and the Sahel. We leave Kalait to return in the part of the plateau, with the first bivouac in the peak of Terkei (museum of the Rupestrian paintings). Bivouac under tent. Meal prepared by our cook

Aloba – Ouaddi Nohi – Bir de Gaulle labyrinthe In Aloba we will see the largest arch in the world with an estimated opening of 120 m high and 77 m wide. A grandiose work of nature where we crisscross to discover its arches and its corridors around the plateau of Ennedi. The Nohi Valley with magnificent panoramas between dunes and magic shapes. A crazy work of unknown artists. Labyrinths and corridors rich in caves where thousands of paintings are hidden. Bivouac under tent. Meal prepared by our cook

Accommodation: tents Day 10. November 21, 2022. Archei (Sa Guelta) Gathering point of thousands of camel herds and especially surprise habitat of the last crocodiles of the desert. Real cathedral of sandstone sculpted according to the whims of water and wind. Ennedi has the merit of the circus, grandiose and spectacular. Let's discover this natural wealth. Bivouac under tent. Bechiké – Deli – Kalait A vast discovery of the Ennedi massif before taking the road back to Kalait where we start our return to the plains of Oumchallouba . Accommodation: tents Day 12. November 23, 2022. Todi – Kouba Olanga We are now in the transhumance zone of Toubou Kereda and Teda in search of pasture on the way to the South. This arid zone lets us believe that the desert is advancing rapidly. Some Arab families nomadize in this area before finding the main road leading to Kouba olanga.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: tents Day 13. November 24, 2022. Salal – Moussoro This is the Bahr el Ghazel, an ancient river of Chad that flowed in a south/north axis. The basin of dead dunes and basins of the old dry lake. Strong concentration of Kereda-Arab families who share this area before reaching the town of Moussoro. Bivouac under tent. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Accommodation: tents Day 14. November 25, 2022. Moussoro – Ndjamena Return to Ndjamena, by the great way of Massakori. We will arrive at the end of the evening, with a stop at the craft center for souvenirs. PCR test. Restaurant. Shower and overnight at Ibis hotel 3*.

Accommodation: Ibis hotel 3*, shower Day 15. November 26, 2022. Ndjamena – Return flight Ndjamena city tour and the village of Gaoui, ethnographic center of the Sao culture which is a large ethnic group. Sao museum and pottery. In the evening we choose a restaurant in the city for farewell dinner.
Day use hotel for taking shower (1 room for 3 people). Late evening transfer to Ndjamena airport. International return flight.
