ARRIVAL IN REYKJAVIKAfter arriving in Iceland, we meet at Keflavik Airport (the recommended arrival time is no later than 15:00), check in our cars, and head towards Reykjavik. The journey takes about an hour, but these first kilometers already give you a sense of the country's character: endless lava fields, soft green moss, black rock formations, and the crisp northern air. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and take some time to relax before embarking on a leisurely walk through the capital city. The colorful houses, the waterfront, the northern lights even on a clear day, and the peaceful rhythm of the city create the perfect setting for our journey. In the evening, we meet for dinner at a restaurant, where we sample Icelandic cuisine and get to know each other better.
Meals included: noAccommodation included: Hotel Muli or Hotel Orkin or Hotel 201Day 2. June 13, 2026 (Saturday). SNÆFELLNES PENINSULA In the morning, we have breakfast at the hotel and at 09:00 we set off to explore one of the most diverse regions of the country, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula (a drive of about 2.5-3 hours with stops). On the way, we stop at a supermarket and a coffee shop to buy water and snacks for the day. The first important stop is an old farm-museum, where fermented shark is prepared according to traditional recipes — one of the most unusual products in the country. We continue our journey to one of the most recognizable natural formations in Iceland, the Kirkjufell mountain, which is familiar to many from the TV series Game of Thrones. We walk, take photos, and enjoy the grandeur of the northern landscapes.
After lunch at Arnarstapi in a small coastal village with ocean cliffs in the background, we head to the black wooden church of Budir, located among the lava fields. At the end of the day, we visit the coast, where we can observe the Atlantic seals in their natural habitat. After a busy day, we return to the restaurant for dinner and check into the hotel.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Hotel Langaholt Day 3. June 14, 2026 (Sunday). MAMMOTH ROCK AND WHITES UNDER THE MIDNIGHT SUN After breakfast, we embark on a long but beautiful drive to the north of the island (about 4.5 hours with stops). The road passes through hills, rock formations, valleys, and coastlines, creating a kaleidoscope of Icelandic landscapes. Along the way, we stop at cafes and observation decks with panoramic views. One of the highlights of the day is the Hvitserkur rock, which resembles a giant mammoth standing in the ocean. During low tide, you can get up close and see the basalt structure.
In the evening, we arrive in Akureyri, the northern capital of Iceland. We take a walk around the city, where the cozy atmosphere of a small town is combined with the harshness of the northern climate. We check into the hotel, have dinner, and take some time to relax. Late in the evening, around 23:00, we go to the sea to watch the whales under the midnight sun. This is a unique experience that is only possible during the polar day, when the northern sky remains light for most of the night.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Hafdals HotelDay 4. June 15, 2026 (Monday). LAKE MIVATN, GEOTHERMAL ZONES, AND THE POWER OF THE NORTHERN WATERFALLS We start the day with breakfast and drive to one of Iceland's most vibrant natural areas, the Mývatn region. We'll explore a series of impressive locations, including the Godafoss Waterfall, known as the "Waterfall of the Gods"; the hot water cave where episodes of "Game of Thrones" were filmed; Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall, where the vibrations can be felt through your feet; the volcanic lake of Mývatn with its bizarre lava formations; and the geothermal fields with boiling cauldrons and sulfuric fumes.
We'll stop for lunch at a restaurant along the way and continue exploring the area, including a natural "geothermal shower," hot fields, and spots where you can witness the earth's "breath." After a busy day, we'll check into a hotel, and in the evening, we'll relax in a geothermal pool, a perfect way to end the day. We'll then enjoy a seafood dinner at a renowned restaurant.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Fosshotel HusavikDay 5. June 16, 2026 (Tuesday). THE EASTERN FJORDS, THE BASALT CANYON, AND MEETING THE PUFFINS After breakfast, we'll head towards the eastern fjords (approximately 6 hours of driving with stops). This is one of the most picturesque regions in the country, where narrow sea bays cut into the land, mountains rise almost vertically, and roads wind through serpentine paths. Along the way, we'll visit a canyon formed by perfect vertical basalt columns. We'll descend to the river, where the landscape seems to have been created by an artist.
Next, we'll head to the rocky coast, where puffins live, charming birds with bright beaks. Observing them in their natural habitat is one of the main symbols of Iceland. After a busy day, we'll continue driving along the beautiful fjord roads, and by evening, we'll arrive in a small fishing town, where we'll check into a cozy lodge at the foot of a pyramidal mountain.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Eyjar Fishing LodgeDay 6. June 17, 2026 (Wednesday). GLACIER LAKE, ICEBERGS, AND VATNAJOKULL NATIONAL PARKToday, we start our morning at Vessaströnd, one of Iceland's most photogenic mountains. We walk along the black sandy beach, observe the fog over the peaks, and feel the dramatic change in the landscape. Then, we head to the glacier lake, where we will experience one of the most awe-inspiring activities - a zodiac ride between the icebergs. We approach the massive chunks of ice, listen to their cracking sounds, and observe the seals swimming nearby.
Afterward, we embark on a trek that takes us through hills, cliffs, and breathtaking glacial views. This destination is perfect for those who appreciate grandeur.
For those who wish, we offer the option of a Cessna flight over the glaciers and volcanic areas. However, it's important to note that the weather in Iceland can be unpredictable, so the availability of this option may vary.
In the evening, we check into a hotel located at the foot of the mountains.

We find ourselves on the country's largest lava field, covered in green moss, and stroll along the legendary Vik Black Beach, where we listen to the crashing waves against the basalt walls and feel the power of the ocean.
We ascend to the Dirholaey Lookout, where a lighthouse stands, offering breathtaking views of the endless beaches and the black lava archway. We observe the glaciers of Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull, whose eruptions and lava flows have shaped the island's history.
Then we visit the majestic Skogafoss Waterfall and go to the hidden Kvernufoss Waterfall, which is located in a narrow canyon and can be accessed through a water curtain. This area is usually quite empty, which adds to its atmospheric appeal.
Lunch and dinner are provided at restaurants along the route. The night is spent at a hotel.
