The program starts at around 5 p.m. An evening walk through Tokyo's central historic districts: the historic and business districts of Nihonbashi and Marunouchi, as well as the Ginza district, famous for its luxury boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
Tokyo translates from Japanese as "Eastern Capital". This name was given to the samurai city of Edo after the imperial capital was moved from Kyoto in the second half of the 19th century. This largest metropolis in Japan impresses travelers with its cleanliness, convenient transport system and the friendliness of the locals, who, despite language barriers, are happy to help foreign guests.
In the evening, a joint dinner and introduction will be organised at a restaurant with a sumo show.

We head to the historic Asakusa district, which still retains the color and atmosphere of the old city, where Sensoji Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in the Japanese capital, founded in 645, and the Kaminarimon Thunder Gate with its huge lantern are located.
The world-famous Shibuya Crossing, the busiest in Tokyo and one of the busiest in the world, will not be overlooked. When the green light comes on, traffic opens up on all four sides at once, and several hundred people, and up to a thousand during rush hour, rush across the road in different directions. We will see the statue of the faithful dog Hachiko, the electronics district, neon lights and maid cafes - Akihabara.

Today we are travelling by public transport to Kamakura, a small resort town just over an hour away from Tokyo. Kamakura was once an important political center in Japan. In the 12th-14th centuries, it was the residence of the Minamoto shogunate, and the city's past grandeur is reflected in its impressive temples and shrines.
Kotokuin is a Pure Land Buddhist temple in Kamakura, famous for its impressive bronze statue of the Great Buddha, which stands over 13 meters tall in the open air. The Great Buddha of Kamakura, depicting Amida Buddha, is a national treasure and one of the most recognisable symbols of Japan.
Visit to the ancient Buddhist temple of Hasedera.
Founded in the 13th century, Hasedera Temple is one of the most picturesque temples in Kamakura, known primarily for its nine-meter statue of the bodhisattva Kannon, which, according to legend, arrived by sea. But the temple complex also has many other interesting features. The hill on which the temple is located offers a magnificent view of Kamakura and the Pacific coast. Numerous statues of the bodhisattva Jizo stand along the steps leading to the top, and at the foot of the hill there is a cave dedicated to the goddess Benzaiten and a garden with a pond surrounded by peonies, maples and apricot trees.
Next, we will see the Zeni-arai Benten Shrine, whose main attraction is a cave with a spring whose water, according to legend, brings good luck and prosperity. It is believed that if you wash your money in it, it will double, so everyone who wants to enlist the blessing of the goddess of prosperity, clean their coins and banknotes in the spring and increase their wealth, strives to come here.

KINKAKUJI GOLDEN PAVILION - RYOANJI TEMPLE - NISIKI MARKET Breakfast at the hotel. We set off to explore Kyoto, the cultural center of modern Japan. The city's calling card is the Golden Pavilion Kinkaku-ji and its unique landscape garden: built at the end of the 14th century, the complex with a three-store pavilion, covered with sheets of pure gold and reflected in the calm waters of a mirror pond, left a deep impression on the minds of contemporaries and subsequent generations. In addition to the famous pavilion, the area, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, contains a traditional walking garden, small waterfalls and a tea house.
We visit Ryoanji Temple, founded in the mid-15th century in northern Kyoto, famous for its famous karesansui stone garden. This garden, considered one of the finest examples of Japanese garden art, is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For centuries, it has attracted visitors seeking to uncover its secret: why are only 14 of the 15 stones always visible?
The central historic districts of the Old Capital, Yasaka Shrine, and the Gion district, where you can still see traditional wooden "matiya" houses and geisha and their apprentices, maiko, hurrying about their business in the charming streets of the district. They still live in Gion and entertain guests every evening with dancing, conversation and exciting table games.

Today we will visit Nishiki Market, located on a narrow-covered street parallel to one of Kyoto's main avenues. It brings together more than 100 shops and restaurants related to cooking. Here you can find fresh seafood, vegetables, famous Kyoto pickles and sweets, as well as tableware, knives and teas.
Optional: Kaiseki-ryori dinner is traditional Japanese haute cuisine, consisting of an exquisite set of dishes served in a specific sequence. Kaiseki dishes are prepared from local ingredients and served on beautiful tableware, decorated with special attention to detail. Such a dinner is not just a meal, but a real gastronomic ritual, emphasizing balance and aesthetic pleasure.
Dinner will be held in the company of geisha at a traditional Japanese restaurant. During dinner, you can chat with the geisha and her apprentice, the maiko, ask questions, and take photos. The girls perform the traditional Kyō-mai dance and play fun and exciting games with the guests.

SANJUSANGENDO TEMPLE - TOYOTOMI HIDEYOSHI SHRINE - NIDZHO PALACEBreakfast at the hotel. This day, spent in the historic heart of Japan, is dedicated to immersing ourselves in the multifaceted culture of Kyoto. We will begin our journey with a morning visit to the famous Kobo-ichi market, where we will experience the authentic atmosphere of a Japanese market, full of colors, aromas and local color, and get acquainted with the country's unique market culture. Next, we will encounter spiritual heritage: at the Sanjusangendo Temple, we will see a mesmerizing row of 1,001 statues of the bodhisattva Kannon, symbolizing mercy and compassion.
Then we will travel back to the era of Japanese unification by visiting the Toyotomi Hideyoshi Shrine, dedicated to one of the country's greatest rulers. The highlight of the day will be a visit to Nijo Castle, the impressive residence of the shoguns. Here we will walk on the famous "nightingale" floors, which creak with every step, just like in the old days, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its picturesque traditional garden, contemplating the harmony of water, stones and plants.

The Jidai Matsuri Festival is one of the three most famous events in Kyoto, attracting both locals and tourists alike. During this colorful festival, a costume parade starts at the Imperial Palace and ends at the Heian Jingu Shinto shrine.
Around two thousand participants dress up in costumes representing different historical periods of Japan. This creates a unique opportunity to see a living picture of the past, where samurai, court ladies of the Heian period, warriors of the Sengoku period and representatives of other eras walk side by side. The parade is accompanied by music, dancing and other performances, making it even more spectacular and atmospheric.
The Festival of Epochs is not only an entertaining event, but also a cultural one, allowing participants and spectators to immerse themselves more deeply in the history and traditions of Japan.
Lunch during the excursion. Free time, during which you can optionally take a master class in samurai sword fighting in a traditional samurai house or attend a ninja master class, where you can dress up in a ninja costume, learn and practice ninja techniques. Transfer to the northern part of Kyoto by public transport.
In the evening, we will visit the
Kurama Himatsuri Fire Festival, an immersion in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese festival held at the Yuki-jinja Shrine.
During the festival, in the evening, huge torches are lit along the road leading to the shrine. Their light creates a mesmerizing spectacle and illuminates the path for visitors to the temple. The fire festival is not just a colorful event, but also a ceremonial act that symbolizes the protection of the city from disasters and misfortunes.
After visiting the festivals, we return to the hotel to rest and share our impressions of a busy day.

THE GREAT EASTERN TEMPLE OF TODAIJI - DEER PARK - KASUGA-TAISYA SHRINE - FUJIMI INARIBreakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the ancient capital of Nara by public transport. Walking tour of Nara: visit the largest wooden structure in the world, the Great Eastern Temple of Todai-ji with the Great Buddha Pavilion, Kasuga-taisha Shrine with its thousands of stone lanterns, walk through the famous Deer Park, where tame spotted deer are considered heavenly messengers.
Lunch will be provided during the tour. On the way back, visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its endless corridors of scarlet torii ritual gates and stone statues of foxes, the guardians of the shrine.
Return to Kyoto.

The Kongobuji monastic complex is an important site on Mount Koya, which is considered one of the oldest Buddhist centers in Japan. This center was founded by the monk Kukai about 1,200 years ago and has remained an important pilgrimage site for followers of Buddhism ever since.
A whole temple town has grown up around the main temple of the Shingon sect on Mount Koya, which has retained its importance to this day.
Kongobuji is not only a religious and historical center, but also an outstanding cultural monument recognized by the international community. In July 2004, the complex was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Among the attractions of Mount Koya,
the ancient Buddhist cemetery of Okunoin stands out.
Okunoin is one of Japan's most famous and revered cemeteries, where, according to legend, the monk Kukai has been in deep meditation since the 8th century. A walk along the paths of Okunoin is reminiscent of a visit to a temple and is sometimes even more exciting - stones and lanterns covered with thick moss, majestic cryptomeria trees marked with plaques as century-old natural monuments create an atmosphere of tranquility and solemn beauty.

Transfer to Osaka by chartered transport. We will take a walk along Dotonbori, a district along the canal of the same name with a history dating back 400 years. In the early 17th century, the Osaka government designated this area for entertainment venues, and by the end of the Edo period, there were six Kabuki theatres, five Bunraku theatres and many small stages here. Restaurants and cafes soon sprang up around the theatres, and Dotonbori became a popular evening entertainment spot.
Today, although traditional theatres have almost disappeared, the area remains a lively center for nightlife, entertainment and gastronomy. We will pay special attention to Osaka Street food. This is an excellent opportunity to try a variety of local dishes and snacks, which are famous for their taste and originality.
The Umeda Sky Building observation deck is no less impressive. It offers a stunning view of Osaka and the Yodogawa River. Built in 1993 and designed by architect Hiroshi Hara, the Umeda Sky Building ranks 19th on the list of Osaka's tallest buildings and is one of the most notable features of the cityscape.

Today we will take public transport to Nikko, a city located in the Tohoku region of Japan. It is known for its historical sights, temples and shrines, as well as natural beauty spots such as Lake Chuzenji and waterfalls.
We will see the red Shinkyo Bridge, visit the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a masterpiece of Japanese wooden architecture, the famous Yomeimon Gate, the tomb of Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the high-altitude Lake Chuzenji.
Toshogu Shrine, built in 1617, is dedicated to the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, Ieyasu, revered as the deity Toshogu Daigongen ("Great Deity of the Eastern Light"). It symbolized the power of the Tokugawa clan, which ruled Japan for over 250 years. The shrines are decorated with carvings, bright paintings and gilding, which took about 2.5 million sheets of gold foil. Nikko Toshogu is home to the famous sculptures of the three wise monkeys and the sleeping cat, as well as 42 buildings listed as the UNESCO World Heritage List.
