TRAVEL PROGRAM: TOUR TO KYRGYZSTAN
Day 1. July 30, 2022. Manas airport (Bishkek) – Issyk-Kul – Karakol (500 km)
Arrival by international flight to Manas airport. Meeting the driver and the guide at the airport.
Set off to the beautiful mountain lake Issyk-Kul to Karakol town.
In the first half of the day, we drive along the Chuya valley along the Kyrgyz ridge, then through the Boom gorge we reach the Issyk-Kul region and continue our way to the eastern part of the lake - the town of Karakol by the northern shore.
A town where you can see a Russian wooden church of the 19th century, an old Dungan mosque in Chinese pagoda style built at the beginning of the 20th century, old Russian houses with wooden shutters, small streets and a merchant passage.
If we have time, we stop at Buranu tower. Lunch at a family in the village (national dish Besh-Barmak)
After lunch, a master class on making a national carpet. The road to Issyk-Kul lake along the southern coast.
Rest in a yurt camp on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.

Day 2. July 31 2022. Karakol – Dzhety Oguz gorge – Bokonbaevo village – Kochkor (340 km)
After breakfast we drive along the southern shore, stop by the Dzhety Oguz gorge ("Seven Bulls", "Broken Heart" rock), a resort that was visited by Soviet cosmonauts, including Yuri Gagarin.
Continue our way to Bokonbaevo. In the foothills of Bokonbaevo village, we will meet eagle hunters, then we go hunting with an eagle, shooting from a traditional bow. We will also see Kyrgyz hunting hounds - taigans.
Lunch in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu in a house of a local man, a yurt maker. We will see a workshop in a farmhouse of a craftsman who makes traditional nomadic dwellings.
And then we head to the central part of the Tien Shan mountains past the Orto-Tokoy reservoir to the village of Kochkor.

Day 3. August 1, 2022. Kochkor – Son-Kul (150 km)
In the morning we drive to Son-Kul Lake - a high-altitude camp of modern nomads. Son-Kul is a high-altitude lake, which is located at an altitude of more than 3000 meters above sea level. The road to it goes through picturesque mountain passes and serpentines, where we can meet herds of yaks along the way. Joint setting of a yurt with a family of nomads. Acquaintance with the life of cattle breeders. Horseback riding and visiting petroglyphs (ancient rock paintings).
In the evening, we will gather by the fire and, according to the tradition of nomads, we will pass "Yr-kese" to each other.
"Yr-kese" - "Singing bowl" - one of the ancient traditions of the Kyrgyz people, when people gather together and sing songs.
Nomads use a large bowl "kese" filled with a drink symbolizing a song that can flow endlessly. The next singer, having finished the song, takes a sip from the common bowl and passes it on to another singer. In his turn, having taken a sip from the bowl, he begins to sing. And then it lasts endlessly, until there is nothing left in the bowl.

Day 4. August 2, 2022. Son-Kul – Kyzyl-Oy – Suusamyr valley (250 km)
We descend from Son-Kul through the Kara-Keche pass to the village of Kyzyl-Oy (150 km).
This day we move through the mountainous area of the Central Tien Shan (which in Chinese means the Heavenly Mountains) which is sparsely populated.
We will stop for lunch in the village of Kyzyl-Oy, which is located in a narrow valley among high mountains.
We will take a photo on the picturesque banks of the turbulent Kekemeren River and admire the colorful mountains of this area.
Then we will continue our road to the Suusamyr valley - the birthplace of the Kyrgyz giant hero Kozhomkul (1888-1955). A house-museum and gumbez (grave) of the baatyr. Suusamyr is a high-mountainous plateau surrounded by mountains, where we will stop for the night in a kumys treatment center.
We will taste the national drink kumis, and samal made from fermented mare's milk.
A walk before dinner is possible.

Day 5. August 3, 2022. Suusamyr valley – Osh (540 km)
We set off through the Central Tien Shan to the Fergana Valley, where the ancient city of Osh is located on the Great Silk Road with the sacred mountain Sulaiman-Too (Solomon's throne).
On the way, we will pass the Toktogul reservoir, the picturesque Chychkan gorge and cross the largest river in Kyrgyzstan - the Naryn river, a tributary of the Syr-Darya. We will see a cascade of hydroelectric power plant.

Day 6. August 4, 2022. Osh – Sary Tash (Pamir-Alai) (200 km)
Leaving the city of Osh, we will go towards the Pamir-Alai ridge, which is the natural border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
From the village of Sary Tash one can already see Lenin Peak, the second highest seven thousand peak in Kyrgyzstan. (7134 meters). National equestrian games. Ulak-Tartysh (goat dragging on horseback), Oodarysh (wrestling of two riders on horseback). Horseback riding is available upon request.

Day 7. August 5, 2022. Sary-Tash – Achik Tash base camp – Sary Tash (100 km)
After breakfast, we will head towards Lenin Peak to the Achik-Tash base camp, walk to Tulpar-Kol lake and return for dinner to the guest house in Sary-Tash. Visit to the ethnographic museum in the village of Sary Mogol. Life and traditions of the Murghab Pamir Kyrgyz who migrated from Tajikistan.

Day 8. August 6, 2022. Sary Tash – Osh (200 km)
Return to Osh city. Walk around the city. Sulayman Mountain, bazaar. Urgent PCR test. City tour.
At dinner we will hear musical compositions performed on ancient folk instruments by musicians of the "Ethno-Osh" folklore ensemble. The sound of each instrument has a special charm; the names of some do not have a translation from Kyrgyz into Russian.
Artists play musical instruments made to order by the Bishkek master Mirbek. These are kyl kyyak, komuz, dobul bas, chopochor, sybyzgy, ooz komuz, asa tayak, etc.

Day 9. August 7, 2022. Osh – Moscow
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of Osh city. Departure from Osh to Moscow.
