Our expedition will go to the flat top of the table mountain Roraima, overcoming several climatic zones at once and discovering several endemics. Rising in the Guiana Highlands, at the junction of Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana, the Roraima tepui once served as the prototype for Conan Doyle's novel The Lost World, and today is a Mecca among climbers on the most beautiful routes.

TRAVEL PROGRAM: TOUR TO VENEZUELAN AMAZONIA
Day 1. November 6, 2025 (Thursday). CARACAS – PUERTO ORDAZ
Arrival in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Meeting at the airport and in the afternoon connecting flight to Puerto Ordaz. Arrival in Puerto Ordaz, transfer. Short briefing. Rest of the day – free time.

Day 2. November 7, 2025 (Friday). CARACAS – PUERTO ORDAZ – SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN
Early in the morning, we will head to the airport to catch our flight to Puerto Ordaz. From there, we will take a connecting flight to Santa Elena de Uairen. The evening is free time.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner

Day 3. November 8, 2025 (Saturday). SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN – PARAI TEPUI – TEQ RIVER
We will drive 25 km to Parai Tepui (1600 m above sea level), from where we will start trekking (5 hours) through the savannah to the Kukenan camp at an altitude of 1650 m. During the trek we will have to cross two rivers.
In the evening our guide and porters will set up camp for a nice dinner at the foot of Roraima.

Day 4. November 9, 2025 (Sunday). TEK RIVER – RORAIMA BASE CAMP
Trekking 10 km (5 hours, climb - 200 meters) to the base camp of Roraima, located at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level.
Our path will go through the savanna, on the way we will be surrounded by stunning prehistoric landscapes: orchids, bromeliads, ferns, palm trees, fluttering hummingbirds.
After trekking we will have a refreshing swim in the river next to the camp.

Day 5. November 10, 2025 (Monday). TEK RIVER – BASE CAMP – RORAIMA TOP
We will have a steep hike of about 3 hours (1.5 km, climb 850 meters) through the jungle, after which we will reach the summit of the Lost World at an altitude of 2700 m.
Here we will see interesting rock formations - the result of 2 billion years of erosion. We will be surrounded by amazing prehistoric unusual plants. This is the real Lost World. Most of the plants here are endemic and found nowhere else.
Some sections here look like lunar landscapes, and the views from the top through the mists to the savannah spread below are simply incredible.
Our tents will be set up in natural caves for 3 nights, providing us with protection from the frequent fogs and downpours from above.

Days 6 – 7. November 11 – 12, 2025 (Tuesday – Wednesday). RORAIMA TOP
We will explore the fantasy country at the top of Roraima. The peak extends for 45 km in length and 20 km in width. We will visit the Crystal Valley, where we will see strange and beautiful quartz rocks and a bizarre landscape that rises up and then descends.
We have to cross streams and wetlands, passing through natural labyrinths. As well as stunning views of the savannah will open before us.
We will have the opportunity to swim in natural jacuzzies with water of red, brown and gold colors.

Day 8. November 13, 2025 (Thursday). RORAIMA TOP – TEK RIVER
Today we will descend 10.5 km to the Tek River (1850 meters above sea level) in 7 hours. Along the way we will be able to enjoy the last views of the walls of Roraima.

Day 9. November 14, 2025 (Friday). TEK RIVER – PARAI TEPUI – SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN
We will walk about 4 hours to Parai Tepui. Then we will get into 4x4 vehicles and return to Santa Elena de Uairen. Free time after lunch

Day 10. November 15, 2025 (Saturday). SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN – PUERTO ORDAZ – CIUDAD BOLIVAR
In the afternoon, we will fly to Puerto Ordaz. Later in the day, we will go on an excursion to Ciudad Bolivar — arguably the most beautiful colonial city in Venezuela, which once served as the residence of Simon Bolivar and the capital of the country.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11. November 16, 2025 (Sunday). PUERTO ORDAZ - CARACAS
Departure from Puerto Ordaz to Caracas at 10:00 am. Arrival in Caracas around 11 am. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel, a sightseeing tour of Caracas or, if you wish, free time.

Day 12. November 17, 2025 (Monday). CARACAS - FLIGHT BACK
