AMMAN, JORDAN (or TABUK, SAUDI ARABIA) – CAMPING IN WADI RUM DESERTThe program begins with a group meeting and transfer from Amman Airport to the camping, or with a border crossing for participants continuing their journey from Saudi Arabia. Please note that the exact arrival time at the camping depends on the duration of the border crossing process. From the border point to our accommodation, a scenic transfer of about 1.5 to 2 hours awaits, during which you can observe the changing landscapes.
After check-in, you will have time to relax and soak in the desert atmosphere. The evening will culminate with a dinner under the endless starry sky — an authentic Bedouin feast featuring the traditional Zarb barbecue. This unique dish is slowly cooked under a layer of hot sand, preserving its distinctive flavor and aroma of spices.
You will spend the night in cozy and authentic "bubble" rooms — dome-shaped huts that provide a cool retreat and full immersion into the unique desert ambiance.

WADI RUM DESERT – PETRABreakfast at the camping will start our day dedicated to exploring the legendary Wadi Rum Desert. The best way to experience its grand scale and otherworldly beauty is to embark on a jeep safari to its most iconic sites. During a four-hour journey in 4x4 vehicles, we will see the desert's symbol — the "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" rock, ancient rock art and petroglyphs, visit Lawrence's Canyon and the site associated with T.E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia"). We will be treated to breathtaking views of Umm Ishrin Canyon, the natural stone arch of Umm Fruth, whimsical rock formations like the "Mushroom Rock," and magnificent sand dunes, which we can climb for a panoramic view.
In the afternoon, we will depart for Petra, with the journey taking about two hours. Along the way, we will make a stop at Little Petra (Al-Beidha) to admire its picturesque, multicolored cliffs and see the ruins of a Neolithic settlement. This site is believed to have been inhabited as early as 7200 BCE, making it one of the oldest settlements in human history. We will see the remains of houses and retaining walls, silently holding the memory of long-gone eras. This "little sister" of Petra, hidden in the mountains, has a special, intimate atmosphere.
Afterward, we will proceed to our hotel in Petra; the drive from Little Petra takes only about 10 minutes.

Optional (at extra cost): It is also possible to arrange a visit to the magical Petra by Night — a special performance at the candlelit Treasury, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.Meals included: breakfast, dinnerAccommodation included: Petra Moon Luxury 5* or similarDay 3. November 8, 2026 (Sunday). LITTLE PETRA – PETRAAfter an early breakfast, we will travel by bus to Little Petra — the starting point of our hiking adventure. From here, accompanied by a local Bedouin guide, we will begin our trek along the ancient secret Nabatean trail, which leads from Little Petra directly to the heart of Petra.
Our route will start with a scenic ascent to the majestic Al-Deir Monastery, offering breathtaking views of the area’s highest peak, Jabal Harun. From the summit, we will descend toward the center of the ancient city, gradually uncovering its wonders: rock-cut temples and tombs, the Colonnaded Street, the Roman Museum, and finally, the legendary Treasury (Al-Khazneh), revealed in all its grandeur. We will conclude this journey by passing through the mysterious Siq canyon to the exit. The total duration of the hike, including sightseeing, will be approximately 5–6 hours (the mountain trail itself takes 3–3.5 hours).
*For those who prefer a shorter route, an abbreviated trail option is available. This allows for a significantly reduced walking distance by taking a jeep ride to a specific point (cost is approximately 7 Jordanian dinars (~$10) per person, payable on-site).Meals included: breakfast, dinner Accommodation included: Petra Moon Luxury 5* or similarDay 4. Monday, November 9, 2026. PETRA – JERASH – AMMANBreakfast. We will travel to one of the cities of the Decapolis – Jerash to see its majestic Colonnaded Street, Oval Plaza, splendid Arch of Hadrian, and several temples. A walk through Jerash is a journey through time. We will enter through the South Gate, just as its inhabitants did hundreds of years ago! Jerash is one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Amman – the vibrant capital of Jordan, nestled among hilly landscapes. It boasts a rich history preserved in ancient ruins such as the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheatre. Modern Amman is a pleasant and completely safe city to visit. The locals are famous for their hospitality, and many speak English. This bustling metropolis blends ancient charm with modernity, offering lively markets, diverse cuisine, and distinctive districts – from the upscale Abdoun area to the bohemian Rainbow Street.
Nowhere is the eclectic mix of cultures and youthful energy of Amman more apparent than on Rainbow Street – one of the city's most happening locations, lined with restaurants, bars, and shops, hosting the open-air Jara Souk on weekends during the summer.
